Language of Hope

This is one classic example of hope:-

Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, “Come, let’s go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.” 1 Samuel 14.6.NIV

Jonathan did not sit down and wait for the “right” moment to attack the Philistines. He knew that God designed us to walk by faith, not sight.

It’s in the going that the victory happens. It’s in taking the first step that the rest unfolds. “Perhaps” was the Word of the day for faith and hope. It was more of expectancy. Jonathan was confident.

We have to give it a try before we decide a certain dream belongs to the trash.

Ecclesiastes 11:6….sow your seed in the morning and at evening let not your hand be idle….

Decide to believe, decide to delight in the Lord and decide to stick it out. Decide to try one more time.

Just take part for starters!
